2013 Audi Q5 – Audi is launching its updated Q5 with five engine options: three TDI and two TFSI engines. Most of these engines combine direct fuel injection with charging, plus a start-stop strategy is standard in every versions. Although almost all of the engines have enhanced performance, their fuel consumption values were reduced by as much as 15 %. Most Audi Q5s sold in days gone by year were delivered with the standard turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, and we expect the identical to be real later on. But a V-6 will stay about the options sheet.

The facelift version with the Q5 has now officially been announced and should be for sale later august. Prices around the European market will start from 39,900 euro – or about $52,500 with the current exchange rates. For your global lineup, the 2013 Audi Q5 includes six powertrain options: three TDI turbodiesels, two TFSI gasoline engines and the aforementioned hybrid. Audi also claims the hybrid is certain to get 34 mpg combined, although those numbers come from Audi instead of the EPA. Click below to determine the modern Q5 going off road.

For your first glance you might not realize that Audi has updated the 2013 Audi Q5. The styling updates to the exterior and interior from the 2013 Q5 are extremely minimal, but what now lies within the hood is definitely more exciting. Exterior styling has been updated with minimal modifications to the grille, bumper and fog light surrounds even though the headlights have been remodeled and incorporate both LED lamps and xenon plus units. The back end meanwhile continues to be treated to modifications to the diffuser and tailpipes. Alterations on the Q5’s interior are very minor that if you’re capable of detect them, you most likely possess a career in front of you detecting counterfeit currency for the FBI. We all do realize that the car will pack Audi’s latest infotainment gadgetry, including Audi Connect internet connectivity.

Updates towards the 2013 Q5′s gasoline engines start with a massage for the 2.0-liter turbo-four, which now pumps out 225 hp and 258 lb-ft weighed against the actual engine’s 211 hp and 258 lb-ft. As expected, these.2-liter V-6 will go away. Going to take its place is Audi’s supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 with a rating of 272 hp and 295 lb-ft. In accordance with Audi, when fitted with this particular engine, the Q5 hits 62 mph in around 5.9 seconds and nets 27 mpg combined. Because of the surge in torque and its improved efficiency over the outgoing 3.2, the supercharged six is now a much more compelling upgrade.

Another high-end feature inside the Audi Q5 is the Audi drive select system. It lets the trucker vary the characteristic of the accelerator pedal, the shift points of the automatic transmission, volume of power steering assist and operation with the automatic ac system via four modes, including an efficiency mode. When an Audi navigation strategy is ordered, a fifth mode is added which is largely user-programmable.

2013 Kia K9 – Known as the Maserati Quattroporte from Korea (weird), the Kia K9 will be based for the rear wheel drive platform through the Hyundai Genesis sedan and can take nearly all of its design cues in the recently announced GT Concept, such as concept’s full LED headlights. The brand new Kia K9 shares most of its components and underpinnings with all the Hyundai Genesis and Equus sedans. The model posseses an overall duration of 200 inches, 75 inches wide and 59 inches tall. It sits on a 119 inch wheelbase. 2013 Kia K9 receive the inspiration for the exterior design by causing changes towards the grill. Through the exterior, K9 2013 Kia sedan that appears as quite elegant and luxurious. But if the 2013 Kia K9 has got the features and tools that are sophisticated enough for that luxury car class.

We can easily clearly visit a front-end design inspired with the look of Kia’s recent GT Concept and displaying the automaker’s family-look radiator grille and modern, tapered-back headlamps. Overseeing the style is Kia’s styling chief, Peter Schreyer, the former Audi designer to blame for the lines from the first-generation TT. Our all-new flagship sedan integrates all of our key capabilities for example design, performance, high-tech features and infotainment into one striking model,“ says Soon-Nam Lee, Kia’s Director from the Overseas Marketing Group.

The engine line-up should include a number of three petrol engines, and also a diesel for that European market. The entry-level use a 3.8 liter V6 engine that performs about 333 HP, then you will see a 4.6 liter V8 version delivering 385 HP, along with the top model will use a 5.0 liter V8 using a powerful 429 HP. The engines is going to be offered using a range of an 8-speed automatic transmission, but a whole new 10-speed automatic transmission that is certainly currently under development may find its strategies by the K9 at the same time.

The Kia K9′s exterior offers solid kind to the recently released sketches of the new model, and presents its vogue concept, “high-tech luxury sedan” image, with futuristic, delicate and distinctive charisma. Initially, Kia K9 will probably be for sale in some overseas markets powered by a better 290 ps Lambda V6 3.8-litre MPI engine, using a 334 ps 3.8-litre GDI engine joining the global engine line-up in 2013.

2013 Scion FR-S – The Scion FR-S is the fact that sports car, will go on sale this spring, Toyota says chief engineer Tetsuya Tada’s original concept needed a front-engined sports car with rear-wheel drive. Inspired from the rear-drive Corolla of the ’80s that took over as darling of drifters, the brand new sports car will be light, agile, and affordable, Find the last weakness to become strong suit, however. It’s really a pure little sports car, free of the techno-affection that spurns our desire to have simplicity, doing just what it does and refusing to apologize for what it doesn’t, As well as tracing its lineage to the AE86 generation in the Toyota Corolla, the production FR-S’ profile was inspired with the Toyota 2000GT, and distinguishes itself with a sleek and low hood and roof-line that boost the coupe’s sporty and aggressive stance whilst providing aerodynamic efficiency.

The Scion FR-S supplies the automotive landscape having an authentic sports car at an affordable price, using a MSRP of $24,200 when built with a six-speed manual transmission, and $25,300 when furnished with a six-speed automatic transmission that has paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management technology.

Scion has certainly succeeded for making the FR-S agile. From the quick steering to the alert chassis, the FR-S responds to driver input in a manner that reminds us from the Honda S2000. Holding the steadiness control button for three seconds removes the protection net, Instead of trick dampers with secondary pistons and magic internal springs, magneto-rheological-horological-magical fluids, virtual e-differentials, and five-stage launch controls, the FR-S extends back to basics: a stiff chassis, reasonable usage of lightweight materials and steel everywhere else, attention to suspension geometry, and balance–of weight, of centers of gravity, and also dynamics.

2013 Acura ILX Review, Price dan Specs – When we hear the name Acura, what is remembered is the luxury cars. Acura itself is one of the Honda subsidiary which is specialized to build such cars. For their latest product, they have set up 2013 Acura ILX. This car is actually a concept car titled “Acura ILX Concept”, which they revealed at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show in January ago. Acura presented to the media that they will release a production version of this car on the 2012 Chicago Auto Show a month later.

“First-time luxury buyers tend to place a high value on exterior styling, affordability and environmental issues, and that’s what we have created with the new Acura ILX,” said Jon Ikeda, head of the Acura Design Studio. “The strategy behind this new model is to position ILX as the first opportunity for many young buyers to enter the luxury market.”

2013 Acura ILX will be available in several versions of engines. The first one is a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder engine capable of producing a total of 150 HP at 6.500 rpm and 140 lb-ft of torque at 4.300 rpm. This version will be equipped with a Sequential SportShift 5-speed automatic transmission and delivers a city / highway fuel economy of 24/32 mpg. The most powerful version will have a 2.4-liter engine with an output of 201 HP at 7.000 rpm and 170 lb-ft of torque at 4.300 rpm. Equipped with a close-ratio, six-speed manual transmission, this version will produce a city / highway fuel economy of 20/29 mpg.

2013 Acura ILX will also come with the hybrid model, powered by the combination of 1.5-liter inline engine and an Integrated Motor Assist electric motor to deliver a total of 111 HP at 5.500 rpm and 127 lb-ft of torque between 1.000 to 3.000 rpm. During braking, the gasoline-powered engine is turned off and the electric motor will make the process of recharging the battery pack. When stopped, the 1.5-liter engine will enter the idle-stop phase to save fuel and reduce emissions. The engine remains off until the brake pedal is released. Equipped with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), the new ILX Hybrid will produce a city / highway fuel economy rating of 35/38 mpg.

ILX will also be equipped by the advanced MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension systems, along with new Amplitude Reactive Dampers. A suspension system that will provide superior ride comfort and precision handling.

Moving toward the exterior section, 2013 Acura ILX presents a sleek design, sporty, and aerodynamically efficient, just like the Concept version.

Inside, you will be given a two package options, namely a Premium Package and a Technology Package. The Premium Package includes leather seating surfaces, heated front seats, an upgraded 360 watt stereo system, a rear view camera, and an Active Sound Cancellation system to the make for a quieter cabin. The Technology Package adds an ELS Surround audio system and some other technology, including AcuraLink Real-Time Traffic with Traffic rerouting, AcuraLink Real-Time Weather with radar image maps, AcuraLink Satellite Communication System, and Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition.

The 2013 Acura ILX will go on sale later this year in late 2012. Prices will be announced at a later date.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport Review, Specs dan Price – Ford Motor Company, or better known as the Ford alone, is one of the leading American automotive companies. along with Chevrolet and Dodge, Ford has become one of American icons in automotive manufacturing. Here, we will take a quick review about the new products from Ford, the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport. This car is an update of the Explorer series that is added with the suffix “Sport”.

The addition name of Sport is certainly not just a bluff. Why? Because for the 2013 model year, Ford will start producing high performance Explorers right at the factory. This new product to the Explorer lineup has the twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 that can produces at least 350 horsepower and, while Ford doesn’t mention torque figures in the official press release, autoblog.com assumed to be somewhere around 350 lb-ft. It will have a paddle-shifted six-speed SelectShift Automatic transmission with a unique 3.16 to 1 final drive ratio. With its four-wheel drive and Terrain Management System, 2013 Explorer Sport will produce the highest the projected fuel economy among gasoline-engine-powered, high-performance SUVs, which is 16 mpg in city and 22 mpg on the highway.

2013 Explorer Sport will be made in four exterior colors: Ruby Red Metallic clearcoat, White Platinum Tri-Coat Metallic, Tuxedo Black Metallic, and Ingot Silver Metallic. It will have 20 inch wheels, a blacked-out headlamp and taillamp, side-view mirror skull caps, a liftgate applique, and a black roof rack rails. The front grille has a low-gloss Sterling Gray mesh with contrasting high-gloss ebony bars. Up front, there is a feature that helps the process of cooling the engine. Meanwhile, the rear got the Sport and EcoBoost badges.

In the interior section, the cabin is swathed in black charcoal leather, and contrasting seat inserts are available. It will accommodate 6 to 7 seats, with adequate space and other features as found in previous Explorer models.

2013 Chevrolet Traverse review, specs dan price – Chevrolet is a leading automotive brands from America. They have been known for making cars with a typical American high performance cars and also all-terrain cars. For the last category, one of their newest products is the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse. As we know, the Chevrolet Traverse is a series of crossover SUV with seven /eight seats which was first released to the market around 2008.Model 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is revealed just days before its official debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show.

Chevrolet gives a new look for this series. On the front, the grille design has been updated with a three-bar upper and lower two-bar design. In addition, there are also darkened, edgier look headlights and a more sculpted hood round out the front end.

On the rear end, Chevrolet made changes that makes 2013 Traverse looks more aggressive. taillights have somewhat, similar shape with the Camaro, and the license plate has been moved up from the bumper and integrated with the new tailgate. More sculpting in this area gives it more character and differentiation with the previous model, with a splash of chrome trim for some brightwork.

The next section that is worth of attention is the interior. The 2013 Traverse has as much as 116.3 cubic feet of cargo space with third row seats can be removed and second row seats can be folded in such a way. by simply removing the third row seat, you’ll get 70.3 cubic-feet of space and up to 24.4 cubic feet of space if you put all the seats from front to back. Materials has been converted into a soft-touch surfaces for the instrument panel and the upper door trims.

A new 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system is becoming a standard, and Chevrolet’s new MyLink system is available. The MyLink system is an interface for using smartphones with Bluetooth streaming, and also to use some Internet radio applications. There also a climate controls systems that is easy to use.

For the power-producing section 2013 Chevrolet Traverse is not much changed from the previous model. It still has a 3.6-liter V-6 direct-injected engine capable of producing 281 horsepower at 6.300 rpm and 266 pound-feet of torque at 3.400 rpm when using a single exhaust. Dual exhaust raise the output to 288 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque at the same rpm. Supporting the engine, there is a six-speed automatic transmission. Chevy changed the transmission in such a way so it shifts more quickly and consistently. 2013 Traverse will also be equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system.

For the safety section, 2013 Chevrolet Traverse has brilliant features, such as Curtain Airbags with Rollover Protection, Stability Contro, Rearview Camera, Four-Wheel Disc Brakes with ABS, Front seatbelt pretensioners, a child seat attachment system, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and Hill Start Assist Brakes

Rumor has it that Subaru BRZ will be launched into the market with prices ranging from $ 24,000 to BRZ Premium and $ 27,000 for the BRZ Limited. Some source stated that the USA market will only get 5000 to 7000 units per year for this 2013 model year.

2013 Subaru BRZ has a coupe-style design, with wide and low body structure. BRZ offers 2 +2 seating scheme with fine space in trunk. The car has been designed to provide “a very low center of gravity package.” This consists of a low hood design, the design of the grille on the front and rear bumper, the slope of the rear glass, trunk layout, and some other details. The back of the BRZ are equipped with sporty tail light and muffler.

In the interior, sports car design can also be found. Dashboard is equipped with a tachometer, digital speedometer and other displays, which is designed in a such way so the driver can see the information without diverting their attention from the road. Seats are designed to provide the lowest possible sitting position, with relatively small steering wheel for easier maneuverability.

2013 Subaru BRZ is powered by the same 2.0-liter horizontally-opposed boxer engine found in the Toyota GT 86., which makes it capable of producing 200 HP and 151 lb-ft of torque. This power-producing section is equipped with direct injection and port injection technology called “D-4S.” This car is available in standard 6-speed manual transmission with short stroke shift lever and with an optional 6-speed automatic transmission that comes with an “S mode” for better shifting response and an “M” mode for optional shifting.

2013 Subaru BRZ’s front suspension employs struts for light-weight and high rigidity, while a double wishbone layout is adopted at the rear for better shock absorption. The suspension will be equipped with electronic stability control to provide maneuverability, driving pleasure, and safety.

Overall, 2013 Subaru BRZ made to give sports car driving experience with excellence in every aspect of driving.
